Save tomato seeds;
Collect the gooey seeds in a jar, and add water..
Let them sit a few days.. the seeds separate from the goo and sink to bottom.
Flush out the pieces of tomato left floating in the cup with running water, the cleaned seeds stay at the bottom.
Spread the seeds out on a piece of paper to dry.
Save currants, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, kiwis, etc, seeds
Put fruit in the blender for a few seconds; Add mashed fruit to a cup of water.. seeds will sink and fruit will float..
Just like with tomato, wash out the floating fruit pieces, while clean seeds sink to bottom.
Or alternative method;
Mash fruit around in a metal sieve/strainer while rinsing under running water; spread out on paper to dry seeds.
(Some seeds such as raspberry and blueberry might benefit from a 'cold treatment' to simulate the winter in nature)

STONEFRUIT refers to the hard seed coat formed around the seed in some fruits..
peaches, apricots, plums, mangoes, cherries, nectarines, ect.
The seed and coat could be planted whole, but for a better chance of success, the coat is carefully removed (i.e. hammer)
Add some potting soil to plastic bag or cup. Plant seeds in soil. Place in 30*F to 40*F (bottom of fridge) wait 3 to 4 weeks.
The cold treatment simulates the winter season, and the seeds should eventually begin sprouting while still in the fridge.
